Continental’s ContiPremiumContact 2 tyre has been named a Which? Best Buys in two sizes in the consumer group’s April 2009 report. This takes Continental’s Which? Best Buy recommendations up to eight in tyre tests on the Which? website.

The ContiPremiumContact 2 received the highest overall performance score in the two tyre sizes in this months report. In total, the tyres for medium sized family cars were given four Best Buy recommendations in the following sizes; 205/55R16V the UK’s most popular size; 205/55R16W, 185/60R14H and 195/65R15V.

Continental’s tyre for larger sporty cars, the ContiSportContact 3 received the second highest overall performance score in the 225/45R17Y category; the UK’s biggest selling high performance tyre size; scoring five stars in dry handling and braking.

The HTR 2 heralds a completely new generation of tyres that will be launched over the next two years and the product range represents a quantum leap in terms of technology. Thanks to its high mileage, the patented “Airkeep System” for 50% improved constant tyre inflation pressure and low rolling resistance, the HTR 2 has secured the position of technical leader in its class within a short amount of time.
