Congratulations to Julie who completed 5k ‘Race for Life’ in 27 minutes and all for a good cause.

After a long meeting on Friday with Nigel discussing the final content for the Wyke Printers website, Winston took time out on Saturday with his grandparents to visit a new cafe bar in Brighouse.

Apparently, he created quite a stir.

It appears we have yet another ‘fitness freak’ in our team. Julie has been ‘persuaded’ to enter the ‘Cancer Research UK’s Huddersfield Race for Life’ event this weekend by our long-standing friend and work colleague Samantha Earnshaw, Marketing Manager of International Personal Finance – good luck ladies, all for a good cause!

71.6 miles, four hours and two sore cheeks. A great day out enjoyed by all.

Julie enjoys making fairies in her spare time and I hear has a website in the pipeline for those fairy fanatics amongst you.

We’re currently working on new creative for the Wyke Printers website and whilst on the subject, we thought this would we quite appropriate for printers everywhere... there’s a lot of love in the air!

You can probably appreciate that my local gym has become a quieter place since I have been sent ‘on my bike’.

One year ago, one barbecue and several beers, resulted in me agreeing to participate in a 70 mile charity bike ride. The event is the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride and is to be held this weekend, Saturday 13 June, from Wetherby race course to Filey.

What I haven’t given any consideration to yet is how I’m going to get back from Filey – may have to ask James if I can sleep over at DSE?

Lots of deliveries today, the NQSW Support Pack is finally beginning to take shape. We’ve just received more components of our recently designed campaign material for Skills for Care. Very happy with how things are coming out... some detailed info soon in the 'Our Work' section I’m sure.

If you didn't manage to get a ticket to Heaton Park this weekend you missed out on a superb show from Oasis, Kasabian etc. We are all in the mood for the festival season now :) A few pictures from the gig before it got too rowdy to hold a camera still...

There's nothing better than a boys night in with my son Jadon and bulldog Winston - Pizza Hut takeaways all round, Rockband and a Sky movie! (even if i did fall asleep after an hour into the film). That's good old fashioned male bonding in my book.
